Anna and Casey got married at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The weather was a beautiful, early fall day with perfect skies. Anna found me through another friend that I had shot, who also got married this year. Anna and Casey’s engagement shoot was super fun and was my second time shooting at Reynolda Gardens. They had a fun energy and Anna was super sweet, so I was eager to shoot their wedding!
Anna and Casey opted for a church wedding to keep it traditional. They incorporated communion into their ceremony, which made it unique and interactive.
The star of the show was definitely their reception venue, which was the The Corrin Refectory at Salem College. We were able to incorporate a lot of the Old Salem buildings into their portrait session. One of which looked like it was taken straight from downtown Charleston with its pink walls. Anna was glowing during so many of her portraits!
Casey had a huuuge groomsmen party and they were a trip to shoot. They continued their energy on the dance floor where they lifted and tossed Casey into the air. Glowing wands added another element of fun. It was probably the most LIT reception I’ve ever photographed.
I wish y’all so much happiness and love. Enjoy their day!
