Abby and Luke had their late fall wedding at Jiddi Space, which is an alleyway behind the Sitti restaurant in downtown Raleigh. Beforehand, Abby got ready at a rented airbnb in the Five Points area and Luke got ready at their apartment downtown. Once ready, they met at the airbnb and shared a first look, which led straight into a portrait session at Fred Fletcher park, one of my favorite spots! As you’ll see, the light was absolutely perfect all day.
A first for me, Abby and Luke had their ceremony at night! I was a little worried about shooting so late in the day and with no sun, but I think the photos turned out decent for only having light come from the cafe lighting. After the ceremony, Abby and Luke walked to a nearby bar to share their first drink, which was also a little nice moment. Jiddi’s food was amazing as always and the dancing lasted well into the evening, even though it was probably the coldest day in Raleigh so far in the year!
Abby and Luke were super awesome to work with and Luke still cracks me up today just thinking about him. He always knew exactly how to make Abby laugh and I’m so glad he did because I loved every emotion Abby shared throughout the day. Enjoy!
